The American Kang Duk Won's annual Karate Camp is held summers in the woodlands of Southern Jefferson County at Lorraine, New York.

Classes at camp are designed to expand one's knowledge of the Martial Arts and are given on meditation, nutrition, self-defense, sparring, kata, philosophy, medical effects of strikes and so on. There is also a combat course, as well as a physical readiness training course where students can exercise their physical abilities.

Students are divided into belt groups for kata and other specialty training under Black Belt supervision.

The first Karate Camp was held in August of 1976 and lasted for four days. This camp was known as the Bicentennial Karate Camp and patches were given to each participant at that camp. These patches are only worn by persons who attended, making it an honor to be one of the pioneers of the camp.

The 20th Anniversary Camp was held June 22-25, 1996. (Select this link for more information and pictures from that camp.)
